Little’s is a family business which has been operating in Scotland since 1966, headquartered in Glasgow just opposite Bellahouston Park. We are looking for a Reservations Executive to join our team to support the operation of our business.
Our reservations executives are the first point of contact for all of our clients, passengers, chauffeurs and affiliates worldwide. This is a fast paced environment where no two days are the same! You will be taking reservations, quoting for hires, communicating with our chauffeurs and affiliates, allocating cars and chauffeurs for each hire and generally ensuring the smooth running of the business on a daily basis. As one of the longest established chauffeur drive companies in the UK, we are involved in lots of large scale events across the UK and internationally, provide corporate chauffeur drive worldwide and luxury chauffeur driven sightseeing tours of Scotland.
We need someone with a “can do” attitude, who takes great pride in providing excellent customer service. You must be highly organised and able to juggle many different tasks – all at the same time. You will have an excellent geographical knowledge of Scotland so you can confidently advise our clients and chauffeurs. You will be fluent in spoken and written English and as we operate globally, a second (or even third) language would make you a great asset to our already multi-lingual team. Many of our team come from a hospitality background, giving them a great understanding of the luxury market and the excellence in customer service our clients expect.Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role would be a distinct advantage, but not essential. What is essential is the right attitude, a desire to learn new skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
We are a 24-hour business and we work a shift pattern to cover the needs of our clients. There are three shifts: Early: 08:00 to 14:45, Day: 0900 to 1700 and Late: 13:00 to 21:00 and you will be expected to work these hours along with one weekend shift every 5 weeks, which includes Saturday 08:30 to 17:30 and Sunday 08:30 to 20:30. Flexibility in working hours is essential during particularly busy times and you may be expected to work longer shifts or additional weekends to cover during large events.
In the first instance, please forward your CV and a covering letter to our General Manager Robert McKenna explaining why YOU are the perfect candidate for the position. NO AGENCIES PLEASE. email@example.com
