George Wills receives the 2025 FBU National Family Business Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating his lasting legacy in Scotland’s chauffeur industry.
We are proud to announce that our founder, George Wills, has been honoured with the 2025 National Family Business Lifetime Achievement Award from Family Business United (FBU). This award celebrates his lifetime of service to Scotland’s family business community. It also honours George’s role in building Little’s Chauffeur Drive into one of the country’s leading luxury chauffeur services.
The Family Business United Awards celebrate the very best of family businesses across the UK. Held annually in London, they recognise companies and individuals who demonstrate excellence in areas such as innovation, sustainability, community impact, and long-term leadership. The awards shine a spotlight on the strength and resilience of family-owned firms and the important role they play in both the economy and their communities.

Honouring a Lifetime of Achievement
George founded Little’s Chauffeur Drive in 1966. His goal was clear: to deliver professional, discreet, and comfortable travel for every client. Thanks to his vision, Little’s became one of Scotland’s most trusted chauffeur companies.
Almost 60 years later, Little’s Chauffeur Drive remains family-owned and continues to thrive under the same principles George established. Today, Little’s proudly offers world-class chauffeur services across Scotland and internationally, maintaining the high standards and personal touch.
A Legacy of Excellence
The Family Business Lifetime Achievement Award is not only a recognition of George’s remarkable career but also a celebration of the values that have guided our family business for generations: dedication, professionalism, and a passion for service excellence.
Over the years, George has not only shaped the growth of Little’s Chauffeur Drive but has also inspired the wider family business community in Scotland. His leadership has been defined by resilience, foresight, and an unwavering commitment to customer care. Many of the practices he introduced decades ago – such as tailored client experiences, investment in a meticulously maintained fleet, and a focus on staff development – remain at the heart of Little’s operations today. George’s story is a testament to how family businesses can adapt, innovate, and flourish across generations while staying true to their founding values.
Here’s to continuing the legacy for many more decades to come.
