Scottish Men’s Open 2018
12 – 15 July 2018 – Gullane Golf Club
See some of golf’s biggest stars tee off at the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open, which will return to Gullane Golf Club in East Lothian. The 36th staging of Scotland’s national open will see some of the world’s leading golf stars battle it out over four days to see who can master this testing links course.
19 -22 July 2018 – Carnoustie Golf Links
The Open Championship will be held at Carnoustie Golf Links in Angus. Not only is The Open Championship the oldest of the four major tournaments on the golfing calendar, it’s also one of the most prestigious and is held in Scotland at least once every two years. Stunning Carnoustie Golf Links welcomes the tournament back in 2018 after an 11 year break.
Ladies Scottish Open 2018
26 – 29 July 2018 – Gullane Golf Club
Some of the world’s best female golfers will compete for glory at the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open, a co-sanctioned event between the Ladies European Tour and the Ladies Professional Golf Association. Taking place on one of Scotland’s best links courses at Gullane, the event will showcase the very best of women’s golf as Scotland looks forward to staging The Solheim Cup in 2019.
Senior Open Championship
26 – 29 July 2018 – St Andrews Old Course
For the first time in its illustrious history, The Senior Open Championship will be played at the Old Course in St Andrews where the legends of the game will battle over the most famous fairways in golf. Featuring multiple past major champions, the championship is a great place to see the stars of yesteryear up close and personal.
European Golf Team Championships
8 – 12 August 2018 – Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course
Golfing history will be created as part of Glasgow 2018 when the European Golf Team Championships are staged on the iconic PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles in Perth & Kinross. Some of the best men and women golfers in Europe will compete side-by-side in a mixed event to help create a truly memorable new highlight on the golfing calendar.
Alfred Dunhill Links Championship
4 – 7 October 2018 – Carnoustie Golf Links – Kingsbarns Golf Links – St Andrews Old Course
Golfing stars and celebrities join forces at this highly anticipated European Tour event. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is a team format event which will be played over three fabulous courses; Carnoustie Golf Links, Kingsbarns Golf Links and St Andrews Old Course.
The championship has a unique format, incorporating two separate competitions – an individual professional tournament for the world’s leading golfers with a US$5 million prize fund, and a team competition which features some of the most celebrated amateur golfers playing alongside the professionals.
