Little’s – A Year in Review

As we say farewell to 2015 and welcome not only a New Year but a landmark year as Little’s begins its 50th Anniversary, in the spirit of Christmas we have taken the time to reflect on what contributed to another great year for the company.

2015 saw the green light on our Hybrid fleet in Scotland when we added five new luxurious eco-friendly Lexus GS 300h saloons, part of Little’s commitment to strengthening our green credentials and creating an environmentally sustainable business. The fleet meets the needs of corporate clients and major companies working to meet sustainability goals.

As the year went on Little’s introduced a new, innovative in-house system allowing for more advanced profiling as well as the provision of chauffeur details and live tracking for clients and in the summer months came the golf events including The Open, The Ricoh Women’s Open and The Scottish Open for which Little’s were delighted to provide chauffeur driven transport.

We welcomed a new Business Development Manager in London to maintain and build upon existing relationships and introduce Little’s services to new clients, and welcomed an increase of focus on the Middle Eastern market, strengthening Little’s position as one of the fastest growing global chauffeur drive providers.

The past year  saw Little’s pledge commitment to The Prince and Princess of Wales 50/10 Club – a group of 50 Glasgow businesses each committed to raising £10,000 to build the atrium of the charity’s new hospice, scheduled to be built in Bellahouston Park in the next few years. To date, fundraising included the completion of the Five Ferries Cycle Challenge, a 51 mile cycle over breath-taking scenery surrounding the Firth of Clyde and Argyll and we have much more planned for 2016.

And, finally, what better way to round off the year and kick-start our 50th Anniversary with our two Scottish Business Award Shortlists and our win of The Herald Scottish Family Business of the Year (Small/Medium) at the start of December. We are exceptionally proud to remain a truly Scottish family business whilst continuing to grow our worldwide presence and it is an honour to be recognised for this.

We wish a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year to all our loyal clients and very much look forward to working with you in the coming months.
